I'm guessing you are referring to the compilation album "The Beatles' Christmas Album", which consists of Christmas songs they released exclusively through their fan clubs. Side 1 has 1963, 1964, 1965, & 1966. Side 2 has 1967, 1968, 1969. These come from the flexidisks that came out each year:

1963 - Called "The Beatles Christmas Record". Has several renditions of "Good King Wencelas", then individual messages from the group and ends with "Rudolph The Red Nosed Ringo". It runs for five minutes.
1964 - "Another Beatles Christmas Record". Starts out with "Jingle Bells" and has messages from the group. It ends with "Can You Wash Your Father's Shirts?". Total time 4:05.
1965 - "The beatles' Third Christmas Record". Has several a cappella versions of "Yesterday", "Happy Christmas To Ya List'nas", "Auld Lang Syne" and then "It's The Same Old Song". Total time 6:26.
1966 - "The Beatles' Fourth Christmas Record - Pantomime: Everywhere It's Christmas. Songs are "Everywhere It's Christmas", "Orowanya", "Please Don't Bring Your Banjo Back", "Podgy The Bear & Jasper", & "Felpin Mansions" Total time:6:40.
1967 - "Christmas Time Is Here Again". This sounds like it was intended to be a Christmas version of "Sgt. Pepper". The group plays aspiring musicians who are auditioning for a BBC radio show. The title track is used as a refrain throughout the recording. It also includes poetry and comedy sketches. Time 6:10.
1968 - "The Beatles' 1968 Christmas Record". Has poetry and comedy sketches plus a speeded up snippet of "helter Skelter. Tiny Tim plays the song "Nowhere Man". Total time 7:42.
1969 - This features an extended visit with John & Yoko, and Ringo Starr plugging his movie "The Magic Christian". John sings "What Will Santa Bring Me?" and Paul sings "This Is To Wish You A Merry, Merry Christmas". George Harrison barely appeared in this recording. Time: 7:42.

They never made a christmas album as such to my knowledge - A Hard Days Night had a blue cover. I am in England, maybe they did one for the US market.
Magical Mystery Tour was the closest they got to it! maybe thats what u r thinking of.
The Beatles' Christmas Album (U.S.) aka From Then to You (UK), was a 1970 compilation album of the Christmas records issued via the Beatles' Fan Club - and made available solely to members of their official fan clubs in the UK and the U.S. The Beatles' Christmas Album was issued as From Then to You in the UK by Apple Records (LYN 2154) and in the U.S. (SBC 100).
