I have heard a broken hip is hard to replace and repair and also hard to recover from...
I hope you are doing better since your accident...

My worst experience was my spinal bone came apart at my waist and somehow my sciatic nerve got caught inside the bones and it also got crushed...

I had back surgery 5 years ago in 2002 and I never healed properly...
Today I walk with a limp and am considered disabled and have been out of work 5 years...

I am in constant varying degrees of pain always, and have to go to my doctor every month to be checked out and get refills on my pain medication...

This sucks because, I had my job at my local newspaper for 23 years and wanted to keep working and retire and get all my benefits...
Sadly that is no longer my dream...
No one knows why my spine came apart either because I was not involved in any kind of accident...

However, my doctor caught it in time because, had I waited longer, I could have been paralyzed, since my spinal column could have slipped and fell further down...
Thank God it didn't...

I wish there was a magic remedy for all you folks who answered this question to get well...
I will pray for you all...

I was hit in the head with an iron pipe once and lost a lot of blood. I went to the hospital and was treated in the ER. Now, more than 10 years later, I still have a hole in the back of my head from that injury. It's just a small hole because of the way the wound healed, but you can put a pencil tip in it, the pencil will stay in there on it's own, and it looks like I literally have a pencil stuck in my head. It's a great trick at parties, and I'm just glad that I have hair to cover it because it's a pretty bad scar.

The most painful injury I ever had was when I'd just poured boiling water into a mug to make tea. I was only wearing socks at the time (and other clothing).
I somehow dropped the mug right on my foot. I pulled the sock off almost straight away and noticed I pulled my skin off too. (I said o dear me lol)
I had a special thing put on my foot at the hospital but I had to keep my foot up for 3 weeks. If I lowered it, the pain was excruciating. have a nice day hehe

When I was about 10 my dad started his pick up truck and had the music blasting, I put my fingers in the hinges of the back part of it (where people tie ropes and stuff) and when he took off, I could not get my fingers out in time, so I was dragged a little, and my knees very so scraped that we could see the kneecap. I was rushed to the hospital and the healing process was very very painful. It hurt to get up, and it hurt to sit.

I broke my pinkie while playing volleyball in elementary school, what was worse was that the coach didn't even believe what kind of pain I was in, when I told him that I hurt my pinkie he just laughed and shrugged it off. Finally, when I walked to music class I was crying and the music teacher told me it was okay to go to the nurse when I did she called my mom and I had to go to the hospital and get a splint.

Some kid threw a sharp stick at me on the playground when I was younger. IT scratched my ear and left a scar inside. There was alot of blood coming out of it at the time.
