Dear Rob,
I'm proud to be a US citizen.
I'm ashamed of... and for... King Gorge. I refuse to let one Bigoted as* shame the rest of this nation. Even if he has dragged this nation into a never ending oil war, to jack up the profits for his cronies at Texaco... Even if he is a homophob that wants to rewrite the Constitution of this nation to legalese discrimination... Even if he has authorized the No Such Agency to spy on churches that espouse conscious objection to all wars... As well as all our postings in Yahoo Answers...
Goddess I'm glad it's almost over
Have a nice day,
PennyAnn

Bush 43 has not made me feel proud as an American. Both Reagan and Clinton helped me feel more secure and proud of being American. It's kind of sad that there are so many people who have their heads in the sand and can't smell the air of freedom!
I just do not see how anyone can be proud of this man who has torn the very fabric of our society down and the financial power house we had become.

i think hes damaged our reputation but that makes me feel no less proud to be an american and live in this country. I think he handled the first year and a half well especially after 9/11 and such but Iraq was a mistake, we got saddam we should leave, we are fighting a war we'll NEVER win. thats just my opinion xD

Bush's presidency has become far more constructive in the last year. He choose advisors, and made important decisions, very unwisely.
I don't think I am less proud of America because of Bush. Rather, it underscores the importance of electing a smart capable President.

I am proud of being an American and it has changed my family greatly. Since 9-11, my daughter has joined the Army, my son has joined the Marines and we value our freedom much more as a family.

My pride as an American comes from having served my country with pride, and not because of some man in the white house.

as a gay man, my pride of being American doesnt fall depending on whos in the white house.. and bush did handle the aftermath of 9-11 pretty well... but in general bush is not a good president, he doenst understand the basic needs of our society, he dont even know basic math... wat makes it worse is it doesnt matter how much pride we have the rest of the world views america as being inferior and for that we thank

more proud because, contrary to clinton, he kept it zipped up and did his job properly. he has refused to knuckle under to the pelosi'/reid regime and has done whats right. he is a great american and will prove many liberal wingnuts wrong.
