Yep - I will be cooking this year as per usual. I have a question - I usually have to cook xmas dinner for 8-10 people, with all the trimmings. Thats a lots of food to sort out. So, I write the approx timings down on a bit of paper (yes, I am a project manager) Only last year, my gf saw this and thought I was odd. What do you think?

Since this is our first year away from our family ( We're now living in Cyprus) my husband is going to cook our Christmas lunch on Christmas eve, and then, weather permitting, we're taking a picnic down to Konnos Bay on Christmas Day, so will be having our lunch on the beach, with the dog!!
Merry Christmas to you all!!
( I hope you're lunch is successful, and that your wife enjoys the break!!!)

For the first year ever, one of my children! I am going to stay with my daughter who has just got engaged to her lovely Aussie boyfriend (he will do the cooking I suspect!), and so things move on to the next generation! No, I'll not be eating it in Australia, but in London where they live, and that in itself will be a different Christmas, coming from Northern Ireland! But we will be joined by his Aussie mother who is completing a trip to Europe with friends.

And the other two (boys) are getting together in Prague where one of them lives.

I think we're all doing a bit. My Nan and Aunt maybe doing to the turkey, some years I help them stuff it, my Mum might doing bread sauce or making stuffing maybe, she also made some fudge and I'm making a chocolate torte for pudding.
