The time machine I own only goes back 23 years and I am 24 years old. Although I suffer from severe amnesia, I am sure I would remember something like this. My mom has refused to discuss the issue saying I'm 'out to lunch'.

Interesting... have you thought perhaps that maybe you're not really 24? If your machine is truly reliable, then it can't be possible can it? Your mom probably had you believe you're the age you've been thinking you are all this time so you don't suspect any connection. Really, you're 23 - which means, you've just gained an extra year of life, congratulations!

Sometimes the older models of time traveling devices experience small mechanical glitches that can on occasion appear or flicker when following your programed time and coordnance. This is mearly time attempting to catch up with it's self and then to expand again. Sometimes when one of these glitches occurs the machine is propelled rapidly forward or backward in time and thus resulting in a small detour to an undetermined time zone for an undermined amount of time. The time spent within the glitch is so compressed and rapid that it is often unnoticeable to the human mind which most of the time can only experience time as linear. This means that if you did infarct experience a glitch you could have gone backward in time any amount of time and spent months or even years there without necessarily remembering it. Hope this helps.

You are lacking one essential piece of information: You are also your own mother.
As a baby you were deposited at a "safe surrender site" for newborns. As a girl you grew up in foster care and determined never to let a child of yours live through a similar experience. You learned to fight in order to keep your virginity. Then you met the man who seemed to be your true love. He was the first man to show respect and sympathy, to be nice to you. You were sure he wouldn't abandon you. But he disappeared after you became pregnant. You resolved never to abandon your child no matter what. But when you gave birth, your baby girl was kidnapped from the hospital. And you suffered severe complications. You were unconscious and the doctors were unable to consult you, so they did the obvious thing under the circumstances. They reassigned your gender. They made you a man. At first you were stunned, shocked, but then, you were a man after all. You couldn't resist the temptation to go back in time to seduce yourself.... Obviously your mom is really just your foster mom....
Now you know who you are and where you came from.
But where did all those zombies come from?

Ask your dad to take the attempt, yet make a promise to one yet another that no count what the outcomes, he will proceed to fulfill the same functionality on your existence and you in his. you do no longer prefer to lose the guy you have standard as a parent after maximum of years mutually. As on your mom, forgive her! sure, she had a wild previous, yet are you able to blame her for desiring you to have a father? I doubt her pal's husband grew to become into keen to be a parent to you, and it somewhat is commendable that your father took on the duty.

Congratulations. At least you weren't a scumbag who left yourself. Now when someone says 'Who's your daddy', you can say 'I am!"

Give your mom some time to adjust to the news. It's hard for her to think that she raised a son AND a husband. Are you guys married?

Mothers are always reticent to discuss their past infidelities. You will probably learn the truth after your father is dead.
