Does anybody knows school or seminars where they teach how to do flameproofing on drapes, curtains etc.?

Try asking this on a costume/theatre site. They often have to use flame retardant on costumes. There are products you can buy the coat the fabric so it is resistant to fire. I know you can buy this stuff at Greenberg and Hammer in New York. Google them to find these products.
