You had to lie to a hostage taker in order to spare the lives of the hostages?

Or shoot someone who was trying to kill your friend?

(some of you may know where I am going with this....)

BTW...LESLIE...if you read this question...which you probaly will since 'I allowed' you to be one of my contacts (Man...I feel like a got little angry hobbit following me around...I guess I do have an affect on you...What am I...like your Sith Master or something?)

...the answer is 'yes I could shoot or lie to someone to spare your life'... I might think about shooting off center for a moment...but I would eventually do what I could for you to live.

Yes...I know...your welcome.

Thanks Zardoz....but one can still ask a philosophical question to everyone and to herself...
Right? I mean...why is that even an issue...?

Now if I asked what is 1 + 1 and answered it...then I can see your point.
Your welcome Zardou...you have been enlighten.

Okay...I realize the question is TOO hard for some...
(Hold on...let me write this in my journal....ah yes....'my hypothesis validated once again... that some like to avoid questions because of what they may find out about themselves')

Well, if I exhausted all the diplomatic options, got permission from the U.N. and every non-member country, I would introduce a resolution into congress to try to get consensus that I should shoot.

So you've been waiting to hear from me huh?
I am sorry I didn't answer sooner but I was a little tied up ;)
If me or my daughter were threatened I would not hesitate to rip off ones testicles and choke him with them. My level of protection covers only my daughter and I.

I know I know, I did not use the answer provided by you, but I felt obligated to say something since you were so looking forward to my visit.
Peace and Love baby.

I would have no qualms about shooting someone trying to kill my friend. As for the hostage taker, i would have no problem shooting him or her either, but if lying to them works, then i'd do it.

No, when the dice are down, survival of the fittest has always been part of the plan.

No, I wouldn't consider it wrong to lie in a situation like that. I do consider it wrong to ask a question and then answer it yourself.

im sry, but wat was the point of this question? its almost like a common sense or loyalty question, and u answered it urself. it seemed more that u were trying to get a point across the board w someone rather than actually asking a question... then again, this could be one of my brain fart moments
