elaborating on my question earlier...most people chose lingerie as the hottest thing for a girl to wear...then my questions are:
why is wearing lingerie hotter?
do women look unappealing when naked? and if so, then whats with all the hype about nudity?
And (according to mainstream ideals) why is it that most men would rather choose to to see someone naked rather then in lingerie?

Personally, I find lingerie attractive because it means she's making a statement that she wants to be sexy and attractive to her partner. For me, the statement that she wants to be thought of as attractive by me is what's really sexy.

Nude doesn't send much of a message: I'm naked, Do me.
Lingerie can send so many different signals:
I'm feeling slutty
I'm innocent and naive
I want you to work for it
I want you to have quick access to the good parts
I want you to crawl to the bed and kiss my feet
Etc...Nudity is great, and it usaully ends there, but lingerie sets the mood

I would just same that everyone wants to know what the other person looks like nude. i guss i am old fashion and perfer to see lingerie on a women. I think lingerie is sexyer that some one naked.

Lingerie kind of complements a woman's body. Nudity is alright, but there's no mystery and leaves nothing to the imagination. Having a little "decoration" is the hottest way to go.

because the panties get in the way off the goods and make them seem less accessible
but its really hot, if your plan is to sit back for a few minutes because it hightens the excitment to rip it off as soon as you cant hold back
