This is the information Harvard gave about the things they look for in admissions on the College Board's website. Obviously, if you are home-schooled, a few of these won't apply. I tried to find home-schooling-specific information on their website, but it wasn't there. I imagine that you would need to contact them to find out how to prove yourself in the absence of information like "class rank" and GPA:

Admission requirements:
Interview required
Essay(s) required
Required: SAT Reasoning Test or ACT
If submitting ACT, the writing section is required
Required: SAT Subject Tests
Considered:
Alumni Relation
Character/Personal Qualities
Class Rank
Application Essay
Extracurricular Activities
Geographical Residence
Interview
Racial/Ethnic Status
Recommendations
Rigor of secondary school record
Standardized Test Scores
Talent/Ability
Volunteer Work
Work Experience
Academic GPA
First generation college student

Yahoo boards is really not the place for anything college related. Most people are ignorant most of the time.
Try: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com
Don't be depressed about the schools posted there; most people there are within top 5% student within the US.

Harvard evaluates you holistically; you would need really strong extracurricular activities, awards, test scores, and GPA (High School).
