Yes three times. Once in the 70s in Wyoming, and twice since I have moved to Montana. They are beautiful, and they way the ribbon through the sky is fantastic. Of course this far south all you ever see is the blues and greens but I have heard in Alaska that you can see them with reds and purples too.

Yes, I was lucky enough to see them when I was in Anchorage for just a week. They don't usually come down that far south, but that one night they did. It was awesome. Almost made you want to duck, these green red blue colored curtains propagating at the speed of light right across the sky. Never seen anything like it.
