I was thinking about it after seeing my younger brother play college football for a junior college. Many teams don't have a kicker or punter. I played college soccer and I am wondering if maybe I can go back to the JC and play for the team as a kicker. Problem is that I graduated with a B.S. already. Is there a rule that prevents me from playing college football because I graduated?

Hahaha! No pros for me. I will be a career CPA. This is for a small JC and I played 2 years of soccer at a JC, not 4 at a university.

if you played college soccer for four years, you are not eligible. Its called Athletic Eligibility and you have used that up. Now when you were in college you could have played more then one sport for four years but you cant play soccer for four years followed by football for four more years. You have 4 years of eligibility to play as many sports as you want in that four years.

Now if you only played soccer for 2 years then you have 2 years left.

As a first point, you would need to be enrolled in the school.

Beyond that, I am not sure what the rules of the National Junior College Athletic Association are about age. My belief is that they do not have a rule for other sports (I have heard about other NJCAA championships but never about football).

What I can tell you is that as Junior Colleges are two-year programs, there is a two-year limit on eligibility for junior college teams in all sports. Those two years count towards the four years that the NCAA allows.

It is my understanding that for Division I football, there is a de facto age limit in that, after a certain age, the number of years of eligibility is reduced.

You would have 4 years of eligibility since you never played football in college. But, you do have to be enrolled as a student...so you could take Graduate coarses

Yes you can play, you should still have 4 years of football eligibility left even though you graduated. There are grad students with Bachelors degrees playing on teams all across the country.

yes if you like but why play football in college if you can play as a career in life and if your thinking of the team because its your former school's team well don't think about it and concentrate on a career game if you really like football because never pity someone in sports because your just making them feel bad about themselves

I had a friend who played rugby that wasn't eligble. I think that because you played a sport, you might not be. He was looking at division 1, so maybe there are different rules for the different divisions. If you are going to school, talk to someone in the athletic dept. they would know. If not, ask someone at your brother's school. Naia might have different rules about it than the NCAA, as well.

If you're looking to be a linebacker at GT, you might want to try and pack on a few more to the 210. As for the 4.9, that's a good speed, but try different exercises to get a better speed burst. Try to get to a 4.7-4.8 range. Just keep hitting the weights, and doing drills, walk on and hey, who knows! Best of luck.
