Charles "Kid" Nichols, age 30 years, 9 months, 23 days.

Second, Mickey Welch, age 31 years, 1 month, 7 days.

Third, John Clarkson, age 31 years, 2 months, 20 days.

If I worked out the date-math right, anyway.

Youngest to 300 wins post-WWII has been Maddux, age 38.

Kid Nichols because they had more starts than Major Leaguers do today. They had 50 a year compiled to the 30 or so we have today.

Kid Nichols. He was 30, Cy Young was 34. There are quite a few players in between those ages.
