can i buy a game controler to USB plug for my laptop?

i want to play my flight simulators with a yoke or game controller... i just got a new compaq and it doesnt have a plug for my controller, can i buy a transferer from controller plug to USB? links preferred to ebay thank you for the help!

Radio Shack sells Joyport to USB adapter. Heck, Fry's used to have a ton of them. It's considered a legacy item so check your local store.

what was your interface? a gameport or serial port? coz if its a gameport, i've yet to see a gameport-to-usb adapter.... i think there is none.
