How about a degree in General Studies?

If your school offers a degree in communications, look at its offerings. Depending upon the direction they choose to take that major in, there is often a lot of overlap with marketing, but without the need for math. For example, very often the public relations courses will be in communications, and areas of advertising, such as media buying, will be offered in communications while others, usually account management, will be offered in marketing.
