It does not matter how good you are in your career, if you do not have good morals and high values you will not be satisfied and others will see you as a phony. Always remember that before you had a career you were a person who was either well liked and respected or was not. As you get older you will realize that good character is more important than your career and you will be able to achieve much more if you are respected as a good and moral person.

Friend Morals and values decide on the path u take in life. Then how can you believe that you have to think of these later. Morals and values are not something u get on streets .It influences you but no , u dont get them there. You get them from your understanding and grasping of the events around you in a step by step logical manner and the reasoning that gives you the decision to choose something as right or wrong. That is also the reason why we tend to protect our children during their "teens", cos a wrong understanding and values may not be the right path . They are/may be given the wrong values and never asked to question it .
In career if we make a blindfold decision wihtout our morals , then do you think at a later stage they will stop you from doing wrong again? no they wont. When you have a reason for going on the wrong or easy path , u always tend to go through that. Electricity is said to flow through the leas resistant path ..how do you think humans learned that ?
Of course the same logic applies vice versa. u cannot do anything right if you have no morals or values.
if you look at history and see the causes of destruction of entire civilization , it was corruption of their values and morals.

Move to the country. Home school them-- they learn loose morals from their "friends." Restrict their TV and movies strongly-- they learn loose morals from stars, too. Stay away from even family that might teach loose morals, especially family that is teenagers and especially when your children are pre-teens or teens. If a child disbehaves, make sure the punishment is strict and swift-- younger siblings will walk all over you if you're soft on big brother or big sister. Don't give any perks when they're on punishment-- no fun, no meals they like, nothing. Be very strict on the friends you let them have over, too. Better they have no friends than bring over bad influences. Even someone who just instigates talk about you behind your back is pushing your child to rebel and cause trouble. Worse, they could be leading your child to sex, drugs, drinking, smoking, and more. Be very careful of all these influences. Also, watch yourself-- if you swear, get off it. Don't do anything that might give your child reason to go down the wrong path. If you've done wrong in the past, confess it and say you knew it was wrong so you stopped to be a better role model for your child. All this may seem harsh, but your child won't miss what he/she doesn't know he/she's missing and will thank you when he/she safely reaches adulthood. Good luck!

Often a high-powered profession only corrupts morals and values as it fuels greed and want. The seven deadly sins teaches us this, we are not supposed to be greedy, competitive, envious or god will punish us!!. Just look at our declining society, global warming, war, disease, famine. All this punishment of some sort for our greed.
The worst thing is greed fuels more greed. The more we have, the more we want.
Voluntary work, charity work from time to time, can lessen this greed, if our careers are particularly high-powered. If we are feeling guilty about being money orientated, It is nice to help others, even make small donations at xmas, to lessen the guilt!
We need to work in life, but a job with less money, and more satisfaction, may be better for our souls and humility long-term, than in competitive roles where salary and bonuses are our only target.Think about it! because we are all going to the same place, regardless of social status, respect amongst others or wealth!.We are judged, in the end, only on the merit of our character, and what is inside our hearts.

Morals and values r equally important as a career is.
The most important thing is that we all need to be good persons by heart first, Career is to survive in society.
A career supporting morals and values is the best combination over all.

A career is one of the most important things to have, because everyone needs a way to support themselves and needs a source of income. In most people, we learn morals and values early in life as we learn how life works. Throughtout life, we go through experiences that can aslo teach us morals and values that leads us throught the rest of our lives. Eventually everyone is going to learn more on how to realize morals and values no matter what career they have.

Be differenet. Most of the people give importance for career tha morals and values. If we take their life, we see that it ends in tragedy. But if you look at the life of people who have given value for morals and humanity are a success in their life though they are going through tough situations. Successful career does not mean that he/she should be of good morales and values. So be different and be a human with morale and values...that is why you are created.

Nope. If you are in a career that demands you compromise your morals and values in order to succeed, you need a new career. In the end, the person you have to answer to is yourself and if you can't look in the mirror in the morning and like who you see...you're doing something wrong.

If someone succeeds in his career by compromising his Morals and Values, he is loosing a lot in the long run. Just like MIDAS who had all wealth but no happiness.

I don't think so. Morals and values give you a basis from which you live your life. This should include one's career.
