Reading this as:-
(3/8) x (5/6) = 15/48 = 5/16
OR
(3/8) x (5/6) = (3 x 5) / (8 x 6) = 5 / (8 x 2) = 5/16

Hold on. Did you mean 3/8 x 5/6 or 3/5 x 8/6?

I was unsure because the fraction in your question is formatted very strangely.

Just in case, 3/5 x 8/6 = 24/30 = 12/15
