I have never been scammed but I can tell you why. Always ask yourself why would someone just want to give you something? Out of the blue and if you do that then you won't ever get scammed.

I'm feed up with these Indian people wanting to give me a phone so I will join there company. I now ask their name and try to make it quite clear they are never to phone my number again

No, because they are ALWAYS scams, why would someone give you a free call?
The world is as bad and greedy as it is, why is someone acting nice lol?

I DON'T FALL FOR THAT! If it's a number I don't know I don't answer it, besides if you tell the these 8 little words, telemarketers cant call or they will get in lots of trouble "put me on your do not call list!"
