The odds of a false positive result are highly unlikely (so long as the time constraints for checking the results on the package are followed). So it sounds like a big CONGRATS are in order!

With this being pregnant ( i'm now 19 weeks) I used 2 First Reponse exams 2 and four days until now my ignored era and the strains have been faint. Then the day of my predicted era and 2 days when I used the digital clean Blue undemanding exams and that they the two study effective. So in case you have gotten 2 faint positives then wait until your era is due and take a digital try. good success. I wager you're pregnant tho.

a faint line is a positive. I would go to the doctor to confirm but you would be more likely to get a false negative than a false positive. It was likely just at the point where the test was able to detect the hormone.
I would give it about 2 weeks, but really , at anytime from here that you would be able to take another test, if it shows positive, you are 'with child' :)
Congratulations!!

Yes you are. I took 7 tests and they all came out with just a faint line for positive. My doctor laughed when I told him. He said if you read the directions it should say even a faint line in the positive means you are pregnant.

According to the box, some tests come in, seeing a faint "positive" line means that yes, you are pregnant. Take another test. Best wishes!

OMG!!! Congrats!! Yes. The second line can be faint & mine were for all 3 pregnancies. Take another just to be sure. But a faint line is a good one!
Take another test in the morning with morning pee. It's most concentrated to give you the best results.

A line is a line, is a line! You can wait about 5 days for another test, it should be darker then, or go get a blood test now to confirm, it's quicker, and way more reliable. Congratulations! My first test was negative, then faint, then bold. I didn't even bother with my second child, just went in for the blood test.

If there was a faint line, then it's most likely positive. Take another one and see what happens. I had a faint line on an off brand test, so I got the expensive one, and sure enough, it was as clear as day.

Two weeks is so early to have the test, you should wait another week or so before trying the test again. Home tests are notorious for giving confusing, and sometimes false, results. You may try the doctor, sometimes their blood test will show results quicker. The not knowing and the wondering is difficult but you won't get a definite answer this early.

Yes, you are more than likely pregnant. The line would not show at all if you weren't. You might want to take another test just to confirm. Those first response tests are very good and if it gives you another positive your next call may be to your obgyn or to tell family members.
