Sometimes yes, sometimes no, and then even if it looks bad then it can still taste real good.

i use to but i think alot of times it looks alot better. i order the pic off the menu and its a farce .... i ate a yummy looking wedding cake and it was dry . i seen meat under light and away from the light it looked like it could give me food poisioning. so i am thinking only cheese cake looks as good as it taste
