Okay, so at work, my coworkers have decided that we're going to do Secret Santas with a twist. Everyone who wants to be involved picks out a gift that would be good for ANYBODY. All boxes must be the same so no one knows who brought what. No drawing names. Apparently, last year someone forgot to bring a gift, so someone didn't get a gift....so this year, the boss decided to bring random gifts so everyone who brings a gift leaves with a gift.

So....what is a good gift around $10 that is work appropriate for male OR female, ages 16-45? That's so hard! It can be funny or serious, but no gift cards and nothing inappropriate for minors (like lottery tickets or sex/drinking stuff). If it helps, my coworkers tastes range from goth, to skater, to preppy to boring....LOL Also, no clothing b/c my coworkers range from teeny tiny to extra large.

walmart, kmart, target, etc have gift sets that have things like mugs with cocoa, campbells soup with the soup mugs, smoked sausage with cheese just to name a few. there are many to choose from. i also like those m & m dispensers in the christmas aisle. those are so cute!

My work did an exchange where all the gifts were piled on a table and we took turns opening one each. When your turn came you could steal a previous gift or open a new one.

The most popular were wind-chimes! I don't know why but everyone wanted them, men and women. Next up were a bottle of wine (sorry!), a gift certificate to a restaurant and a box of chocolates.

We had to bring a 10.00 gift to a party last week. I came up with a flashlight that you charge with a built in crank. For our other one I found a 2 disc set of 4 movies at Walmart. They had 4 action films, 4 horror, 4 chic flicks etc. They were just 10 Bucks. At my Walmart they were in the Xmas section of the store.

Get one of those gift sets that include mugs and hot cocoa (with different flavors of hot cocoa), or a mixed nut gift set or something along those lines. It always works best in that kind of situation. Good luck.
