I got a call saying the owner of the house was in town and wants to do a "5 minute walk through" because "he hasn't seen the property in awhile" and they set up a time giving me the proper 24 hours notice and all that. Questions: Is this normal? Or do they usually do this if they think we're some kind of delinquents? Is there anything specifically I should make sure is clean or anything else I should know before they come over? We're not doing anything illegal in the house...but we've had issues with the property managers in the past and I'm scared that they're looking for any reason to kick us out because we tried to stand up for our rights before. But this is supposed to just be the owner...so I don't know! Any advice would be helpful!

This is normal and the owner has a right to inspect the propert at any time, as long as he give you 24 hours notice, either verbal or in writing. He doesn't have to give you a reason, he is just checking up so that if there is a problem forming or the tennant is not holding up to their end if the deal, maybe he can spot it before it gets bad. He is protecting his investment, that's all, and he has every right to do it.

Don't worry, If you're not breaking any rules, you have nothing to worry about.

They called you up? No notice in writing? What is the reason for the inspection? Even a 24 hr. notice must have a reason. Ask the owner to check your smoke detectors, Have him look under sink for any leaks. Be sure you are clean. But not as your not living there. Have a friend there as any conversations between you and the owner. What where your issues with the property managers?
Do not bring those past issues up with the owner. If the owner brings it up say you where under the impression those issues where resolved. If you are terminated due to a disagreement that is retalitory evition. Good luck.

At the property managing company I used to work for, this was pretty normal for out-of-state owners. Some might not see their property for years (lots of military owners) so when they're in town they like to make sure that the property manager is taking care of their unit. That's all.

Just pretend you've got company who have a vested interest in your home. Make it tidy and perhaps have a list of things you'd like to bring up at the time - a leaky faucet, paint that's chipping, etc. The owner may decide that the unit is dated and needs a bit of freshening up or that it needs to be treated for termites. In my experience, it usually ended up that nothing happened.

its a one long question!! i will attempt to answer in bits with the help of bits. conversing appropriate to the rates of interest its maintains to be same until eventually reserve financial enterprise makes a call to advance or low the genuine rates.if u take place to pay own loan for 2 properties it relatively is one you reside in and one you making plans to lease, you may declare tax deduction on the $$$$ss spent to create earnings. for that reason the lease will become earnings and expenditure will become the interest you pay for the financial enterprise for the homeloan u have.on the different hand rates of interest are severe and could probable supply a 2nd concept approximately paying for yet another homestead. any way good success
