I saw a woman with a cart full of groceries, mainly pizza and candy in line the other day and she used a government food stamp card to pay for $276.00 in groceries. Shouldn't they restrict the amount they give to people who are such globs?

It souldn't be the governments job to elect what we eat, just so it is consumable, Obesity is a disease and until people recognize that, were never going to ever properly solve this issue, the problem here is, the Government will Subsidize feeding overweight people, but they will not subsidize a medical solution like gastric bypass surgery too make people eat less...........hmmmmmmm
I think surgery would be the best investment government could make...not starving them.

No, they have to eat, too. They only get a certain amount each month and when it's gone, it's gone. The government can't dictate what people buy with food stamps as long as it's a food item.

Assuming that you didn't know this woman, you shouldn't judge her. Her weight may be a medical issue. You don't know.
