Wow, that would be great! Means I don't have to BUY any of said presents, don't have to worry about pleasing everbody.......Wouldn't have to kill trees for throw-away wrapping paper or decorations...... Plus, without the roast beast, I wouldn't gain any weight.......

I'd say, overall, that there is a bright glowing interior to any mushroom cloud...

YES! In Fact, this was the situation last year (my first as an Empty-Nesting Single Retiree) ... and this year .. my NEW special someone and I DID AGREE to NOT have presents on Christmas Day!

So ... like the Whos in Whoville ...I CAN truly enjoy Christmas MINUS Presents .. because I ALREADY have the greatest "gift" of them all -- I am going to spend TIME with my Special Someone ... we are going to ENJOY each other's company .. and that is for sure!

A serious response for you this time Robot.

The only gifts we will have under the tree this year will be our love for each other. Setbacks after my heart attack have made it impossible to use money for gifts, especially when a second chance at life has already been given me.

Sure it won't be the same, but what better gift could I ask for than to be with my family.

Yes, seems the only day of the year where people actually are peaceful. I really, really enjoy that. Noticed that every since I was a small child. How peaceful it is, even in cities.

Peace.

I could. As much as I enjoy recieving gifts, I'd rather be able to have the money spent on me to spend on others. I love giving more than getting.

True story.

Definitely, probably more so. To me, family and friends are more important than any gift I could get. They are my gifts all year long.

I definitely can.... I like to keep Christmas really low-key for myself, and remember the true meaning....
