Yes, that is why I CRINGE when I go to the pump each and every time ..
But of course, This Empty-Nesting Single Retiree can REMEMBER when Gasoline was 33 cents a gallon (and even less), when Service Stations provided SERVICE (and pumped the fuel for you, washed the windows, and came out with a little toy for the kiddies in the car too)!

Those who laugh prob drive a big truck or a SUV. My dads trucks cost tons to fill, but my neon cost only about 30 bucks to fill.
