i dont think he meant it to be racist. i did laugh a bit when he said it, because the first thing i thought was that it was a racist remark.

i honestly doubt he meant it to be racist. its just a fatty food that is popular in the south, so its probably the first thing he thought of.

Why peoples thinks this is a racist remark, I mean common, the guy said something about food and peoples just turn this into a racist remark, damn peoples are too sensitive. Mike Vick already destroy the Falcons franchise and Arthur Blanks treat Vick like his son and how is this man a racist peoples use your damn imagination for crying out loud.

As I said before, I don't think it was a really racist comment. I'm from the south, and I can tell that fried chicken is a very popular dish, in Atlanta some people eat fried chicken with waffles, which is pretty good. But I think people are just a bit to sensitive.

Robert T had it EXACTLY right!! A better question was whether Blank was a racist while he was rolling Vick around in his wheelchair or when he was signing Vicks million dollar checks all the while Vick was flipping off the fans and acting like a total Mental Midget..... Was Blank a racist when Vick was lying to him straight through his teeth?

I heard what he said and it didnt sound like it was said in a racist way. He was simply implying that Vick should still continue to take care of his body while in prison. He is the owner and was paying Vick alot of money at one time, not something that I think a racist would do. People who make things like that out to be racist do a great injustice to people who really do have racist acts happen to them.

If Jesse Jackson said that about Tim Tebow would it be racist? Your question reeks of BS and should be removed from this forum. I am one proud white man that is offended when you hypocritical blacks scream "racism" while freely bashing whites. Your double standard is an abomination.

I eat fried chicken several times a week by choice and I like grits. I guess that makes me a "Redneck" and allows you to poke fun at me with impunity.

Were you ever a slave? I thought not.

I didn't hear it, so I am not sure. From the sounds of it, it was an innocent remark about not getting fat. I am of German heritage, and if he said as long as blibity doesn't eat to many bratwurst, I wouldn't think to much of it. Like people above me said, chicken is a prison and southern thing. Well, pretty much everyone I know that isn't a vegitarian eats chicken.

Racist?? I don't know, but he's definitely on a slippery slope with that one. The fact that you asked this question is enough to think that, because you as well as a few other people I know said the same thing.

Just not a good thing to say, especially from an NFL owner, he should know better.
