both for me. i guess we'll never really understand what makes these shooters snap.

I get scared. I work with the public and I often wonder if I'll ever get shot. I had a friend who almost did.

Anger, but in a rueful way. We have weakened the American people with cradle to grave governmental aid until our children cannot defend themselves, and the adults are fearful of everything! Where are the stalwarts who are willing to sacrifice that others may live, who could rush these killers and prevent the casualty levels?
Our parents and grandparents were raised in an America where LAWFUL citizens were armed! Not just criminals. We need to go back to those days.

I get sad...to see the many bad things that is happening in our world today.
The saddest of all I think was when the shooter shot the school with the Amish children.

I usually respond by crying, getting angry, or just watching CNN, shaking my head at the idea of someone doing these things.
Then I hug my kids and try to keep from being completely terrified of sending them to school.

I sigh, shake my head, and wonder what possesses them to do such a thing. The young man that shot up the mall, killing eight and wounding many others , then killing himself, said he would be famous now. To young and troubled to realize that this is final. He won't be around to see the consequences. He won't enjoy his "fame."

I get mad that so many nuts are slipping through the cracks and then they end up hurting innocent people.

I think about it too much. News in general disturbs me anymore so I dont watch too much of it.
