I am thinking of Crispin Glover as Elwood, George Clooney as the shrink and Julia Roberts as the girlfriend, what are your thoughts?

Wally, I can see you as Elwood, In The Dark as the psychiatrist and take your pick of the lovely ladies on here for the Girlfriend.

Steve Carell and Calista Flockhart as the doctor and his girlfriend. It will take a long time to decide my choice for the rest of the cast.
The original movie is a classic.

DON'T LET THEM DO IT!!!!!!!!!!! On one, but one can be Elwood P. Dowd except James Stewart.
Hollywood keeps making remakes and they usually fail. When you have a great movie with a great cast they should leave it alone. You can't beat the classics!

I think Mobius above me is probably right...they would do the remake with Eddie Murphy playing ALL the roles INCLUDING the rabbit (Harvey).

I never saw that one but I am getting tired of all the remakes. With what those writers get paid can`t they come up with something new and entertaining.
