I dont see why some people dont think VICK will have another chance playing football. It obvious that he did something wrong but after he pays his debt what more does the man have to do? Football is a business and not only VICK but the NFL has lost millions in ticket sales and attendence due to the situtation. I think once he is done spending his time some NFL team will gladly pick up vick because it's simple HE SELLS TICKETS and makes the league lots of MONEY!!! The only reason the NFL did what they did is because they want to make it seem right for the people but honestly do you think they care about dogs compared to millions of dollars ? What vick did was a young dumb mistake that costed him millions but I think he will have no problem getting a job in the NFL again

Gawd da*n.... lots of haters on yahoo tonight.

Lets make something clear. Vick has NO priors. No criminal record to speak of and some of you call him a scum bag. He is not a scum bag!

Does Vick have a Future? YES

He will pay his debt, and being the tremendous athlete that he is, will return to the NFL.

Personally I hope he makes an excellent comeback as a QB. I'd like to see all the pathetic people get red in the face with anger.

You people who say such hateful things about others when they are in their darkest hour should get a hobby. Mike made a mistake, he is paying the price. Let him do that in peace. Let his actions after jail speak for it self.

Lets say he does come back, how old will he be? Probably 30 years old, the game will have changed and he doesn't have the facilities in the jail to be good enough to make it in the NFL. We're talking about training and all the other stuff that athletes get. Plus players will be faster and stronger.

What he did was truly stupid and degrading but he knows what he did is bad. He's lost millions of dollars in endorsements and the fat NFL contact.
What team will want a 30 year old football player who was drafted based on potential? Don't tell me that he's a pro bowler, his numbers are not very good. Compare him to Drew Brees of New Oreleans, both where drafted in the same year and Brees numbers are way better than those of Vick. A team that signs him up when he gets out of jail will have a lot of PR to get around with.
Your right Vick sells tickets when he was playing, but he won't sell tickets holding a clipboard.

Yea football is a business, but last time I checked the NFL didn't declare bankruptcy. What they lost with Vick was little, they had a game in Europe and having great success with the TV contracts they have now. Michael Vick was ONE player. ONE player doesn't change numbers. The NFL is made of hundreds of players that they market around. One player doesn't mean nothing.

And for the Cowboy fans girl (Chris Paul bestfriend), he's not the best African American QB ever, try Warren Moon and Doug Williams. Warren Moon is the greatest African American QB in history of football, and he's in the Hall of Fame.

He still has state charges to answer to. The state sentence will not have to be concurrent. When all is said and done he’ll probably be out in about 5 years or so, he’ll be a bit too old. The other problem is that he might have been able to sell tickets previously, but don’t bet that he could now, and its not just tickets that teams want to sell. They make far more on merchandise and people are not going to spend money on Michael Vick merchandise, so it would not be economically a good idea for any team to sign him.

Michael Vick won't be back in the NFL. I personally wouldn't be against it, but no team will be willing to take the chance on him when he's released. He had it made with the Falcons (highest paid player in the NFL). But just like his brother, he couldn't stay out of trouble and threw away a future on Easy Street.

There's no way in hell he'll be back. Even if a team was stupid enough to take the risk the pressure from other teams would be too much. He will never get any endorsement contract ever again because anybody who associates with him will have their products boycotted. There are just way too many dog lovers out there that can never forgive or forget what he did. His acts were truly sick and disgusting. The only thing worse would be torturing and killing children. Would any of you parents ever forgive and forget that? Well, that's how us dog people feel about man's best friend.
Should he ever take the field ever again there will be death threats, that I guarantee you. And it's not just the fans...Wayne Huizenga, owner of the Miami Dolphins, donates MILLIONS of $$$$ to the Humane Society...he even built a state of the art giant facility just outside Ft. Lauderdale...absolutely beautiful....with his influence alone does anyone seriously think Vick will be allowed back on ANY team? NO F'N WAY.
Rot in HELL Michael ...where you belong!

i dont think he should get picked up again but i think he will he's a good QB and he sells seats. the only team that i know of that already said they dont want him are the raiders and i think the chargers said it too because it will too much of a risk. the raiders have a hard enough time trying to sell seats so now imagine if they pick up Vick. i think he has a future in the NFL again

Vick has a hard time believing he did anything wrong for Gods sake.... No remorse....The NFL will not take him back. Lots of players sell tickets.
His only chance at a come back is as poster boy for PETA!!

What you dont realize is he has been doing stupid stuff since he came into the league. He has to improve his overall character as a human being, it isnt just a matter of the dog fighting. That is just what ultimately got him in trouble. He needs to really think about these things while in jail. His teamate Warrick Dunn is a great example of an athlete that does great things off the field as well as on.

Considering he isn't getting out of jail until late 2009, I really don't see how good he can be. I don't have a problem with him playing again after he pays his debt, either. I can assure you with the money he lost and the jail time, he has lost more than anyone else convicted of dog fighting.

as much as i hope he doesn't, he's most likely to get another chance. everyone deserves a second chance is what some say. I personally, do not see how he could do that. I hope he's realized what he's done. Some people might say, "oh, it's no big deal! there dogs." but it is because he KILLED them and that scars. Kill annoying bugs, not animals. it's cruel and unexplainable. give me a good reason, like self defense or an accident of some kind but drugs and "fun" won't cut it.
