Don't try to "liberate" a country that wants to liberate itself.

It's never a good idea to have close family ties with a country known for producing terrorists, especially ones that fly planes into your country's buildings.

There are much better uses for half a trillion dollars.

When two-thirds of the country hates your strategies, you might want to at least consider drawing up some new ones.

When Ann Coulter likes your strategies, you might want to at least consider drawing up some new ones.

Don't trust anyone known to the public as your brain.

Peace = good. War = bad.

1) Those of us who were against the war before it started were not powerful enough to stop it, despite having truth and reason on our side.

2) Calling someone a traitor, explicitly or implicitly, is still effective.

3) The United States too frequently acts in its own interest but tries to act as though it is acting in the interests of others.

4) The corporate media will repeat what it is told with little questioning or investigative reporting.

5) The populace of our nation will tolerate enormous numbers of civilian casualties on the opposing side.

6) The realities of war are hidden from people and they will not do much to find it on their own. They're not going to go out of their way to find pictures of dead babies.

7) Those who are to blame for the war will never face justice, because they are the leaders of the most powerful nation on Earth. The sort of justice that they applied to Iraqi leaders will never be imposed upon them.

8) Those who are responsible for the war and those who profit from it do not face danger, nor are there children placed on the front-lines.

9) The military-industrial complex is profiting tremendously from this conflict, with no serious questioning by the media or from the public.

That's 9...I could go on allllll night. In the end, we cannot decide what future generations will learn from it. That is their decision to make. I hope that they learn something about the fundamental dishonesty that was at work in so many places.

It has defiantly reinforced that ALL politicians lie!!!! And when you vote in a president it's not about "Blue states & Red states", Its not about YOUR party or religion winning, It's about voting in the best person for all--(here I go)-- not just the rich or upper income levels either--All people.

- Don't despise the ardor of the religion. The Jihad will make them blowing themselves in order to kill the "enemy".
- Don't play to be the world's savior.
- Influential politicians: If Irak's cause is so just, then send your own sons and daughters to the battle front, too. You should be proud they are fighting in the name of freedom.
