Why is the Great White Shark the most feared fish when in fact the Tiger and Bull sharks have attacked more humans than the GWS?

Because Peter Benchley didn't write a book that was made into a series of movies about them. Evidently more people watched "Jaws" (and sequels) than the Disovery Channel.

Mostly because its the biggest and most vicous looking shark and also the publicity has made people think its and evil midless bloodthirty preditor that will hunt down humans whenever it gets the chance when its not. Also the Tiger and Bull are never in the movies its all about the white pointer so people dont notice them. If you've got a shark on your mind its the great white.

Because of too much publicity from newspapers, books, television and movies. I think the movie " Jaws " started the trend.
