Do they have to be separate? The very study of logic, mathematics and semantics hinges on the concept of mind-independent, or -dependent, objects. Same goes for reason. And without causality, a great deal of logic and mathematics would suffer, as would most scientific concepts. I apologize, but I have a great difficulty imagining one without the other. Were I to choose, I would have to select metaphysics, but analytic philosophy seems more of a subset shared between metaphysics and epistemology.

You've been analytical enough in your comment - I'll go for the metaphysical.

Metaphysical. I always like to look beyond the "tried and "true" to the "uncharted" and "possible".

I love 'em both... but I being an active 'Believer", I would say I'd have slight leanings towards the former
