makeup hair and nails!

I don't care what age you are, that's always fun.

When we were little we used to do crafts at sleepovers....like make masks with feathers and jewels and stuff. Eh.

you could play "Gossip". That is where you write down something funny or interesting, then you whisper that to the first person in the line. That person whispers it to the next person, so on and so forth until you get to the end. The last person writes down what was just whispered in his/her ear.

Then you have a load of fun with the difference between the original message and what it morphed into. Great fun.

Another thing to do is a seance. You turn out most of the lights, sit in a circle on the floor or around the dining table and make a circle of interlinked hands. Someone has to play the "medium" calling forth spirits.

If you want to try this same thing, but have the 12 people standing around the table with their hands palms down on the table but touching the neighbors' hands on either side so that there is an unbroken circle of energy. Then everyone needs to move in the same direction keeping their hands on the table, verrrrrry slowly. The table is suppose to move with the people! Really! If it is done right, it does work because I have seen it work. But everyone has to take it seriously. I have seen it work and I have seen it fail too.

Have Fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, age is the first thing to consider. If it is like my daughters (age 4 and 9), you may find some kind of craft that would be fun for all. Once my niece had a sleepover and her friends were to bring a sleeping bag and a pair of flip flops. They decorated the flip flops with ribbons and beads and basically had a slumber party with popcorn, cokes and stories. They had also rented one of those big slides for the weekend and we all had a blast! The object is to just keep fun things going and they will enjoy!

Twister is a fun game for any age group- you might need to buy 2 games for that many people. It will depend on if they are male or female. But for older females, pedicures are fun, take turns on each other. Also, make overs are fun. For younger girls it is fun to play dress up. Go to goodwill and buy some high heels, dresses, costumes, etc. Let the girls be creative. For older girls have them bring one outfit to the party they don't want anymore, then let everyone swap outfits! Great way to get a new outfit w/o spending lots of money.

For males, go outside play hide & go seek in the dark, have few flashlights. Boys like to camp out as well, pitch some tents, roast marshmellows....All ages and genders enjoy music....turn it up....dance a little, have some contests...do limbo....games like cherades, pictionary, bingo, spoons(for the older folks) Gosh, I wish I was having a party! Enjoy.

Play 'sneaky Bingo'
Have everyone bring two wrapped dollar store items
Place in the middle of the table
Play bingo, first person to bingo takes two gifts, opens them and places them in front of them

When all gifts are open and someone calls a 'bingo' they can steal any one gift from anyone

It's fun!

Another few tips. Play four bingos to a card, then start a new card
Once all the gifts are open, set the timer for a specific time for stealing.
Once the timer goes off, start a new card, wait for the four bingos on the card, then do a 'cover all, where all the squares on one card are filled. (after the first four on this last card are called, none of the other bingos count until the cover all)
Whoever gets the cover all steals two gifts from anyone!

Play spoons.

For 12 people, you'd use 11 spoons, and probably 2 decks of cards.

Everyone sits in a big circle. The spoons are in a circle in the middle (but note you are one short). Shuffle the cards. Deal out 4 to each person. The dealer puts the remaining cards in a pile in front of himself/herself, then proceeds to pick from the top of the deck.

(You are trying to get 4 matching cards so you can get a spoon).

If the dealer likes the card, it's kept, and one from the hand is discarded and passed to the left also.

All cards are passed, one by one, as the dealer is pulling them from the top of the card deck, to the left. (the play gets VERY fast and frantic) And each person decides, upon seeing each card passed (ONE AT A TIME), whether or not to keep it and discard one from their hand, or pass it along to the left.

When you get 4 of a kind, you quietly and nonchalantly take a spoon from the circle of spoons.

(the first spoon taken must be from someone who has 4 matching cards)

If you notice that a spoon is being taken or was taken, you also can sneak a spoon (even though you don't have your 4 matching yet).

the person who didn't get a spoon is out.

Play is resumed, with one less spoon, and the process repeats itself until, well, people get sick of it (5 or 6 games, but it's fun).

I agree with (above). I've had a sleep over of six several times in one year. Taking pics with the digital camera, going out to get some food, showing recently purchased items. We even had the History Channel on.

Beauty spa...hair, makeup, nails, etc and afterwards turn on music and record a "dance video".
Make it a movie night-rent a bunch of videos and make popcorn & sundaes
Set up games (bean bag toss/rubber ducks in a bucket/board games/etc) and reward out of a goody bucket full of candy, stickers, lip gloss, etc
Look on the internet for age appropriate crafts
