Mike- Yes I do. For instance take last years winner, Cindy Klassen won 5 medals at the Olympics. I wouldn't expect you to know the Canadian Olympians but you don't know who Larry Walker is? Longtime Colorado Rockie and former MLB NL MVP? Jaques Villenueve? Son of Gilles?

I think he deserves it, although I definitely think Justin Morneau should get it at some point. Why Nash but not Morneau?
Hey Mike, aren't you the guy who never even heard of John Tavares either? I have to think winning the Masters, getting 5 medals in one Olympics or winning the F1 title are pretty neat achievements. The Lou Marsh isn't dominated by NHL players because amateur athletics are important too, and Canadians excel at sports besides hockey.

Yeah, I heard about that. That trophy is weird. Any trophy that was won by Wayne Gretzky only 3 times is weird.

Out of all those I only know Crosby and Nash. I've heard about Weir, but not really. I don't really know how any of this works, but I'd think that they'd give it to a hockey player a little more often. It is a Canadian trophy.

That trophy has been won by Steve Nash, Larry Walker, Wayne Gretzky (4x), Jacques Villeneuve, Bobby Orr, Maurice Richard, Phil Esposito, Mario Lemieux, Guy Lalfeur to name a few you may have heard of. It's Canada's highest sporting award.
Klassen won 5 or 6 medals at the last Olympics! Mike Weir won the Masters. You live in Colorado and you've never heard of Larry Walker? Dude, do you go into the occassional coma or something?
