Personally, I don't know. It close enough to Edward, but yet nowhere near good enough. Edward's ficitonal though *sadly*. I wasn't too thrilled about Kristen anyway. But I guess we'll have to see :) Either way, I'm still glad they casted people with experience. Can't wait to see the movie!

Don't you think it's kind of...umm...whats the word I'm looking for.... maybe... oh yes... anti-climactic? I mean..here we all are, waiting for someone to come along and steal our hearts and then this happens... oh well. I've never heard Robert Patterson do a "yank" accent but it better be good. because i'm already hating Stewart as Bella. and he really isn't cute at all...no offense. but Edward is supposed to be a heart stopper, Robert just isn't that good. Also I find it funny that Robert Patterson (cedrig diggory) is now starring in the movie based off the book that outseated the last book of the series in which he had a part. IRONY. if this movie isn't good i'm kicking some summit butt.

Honestly, I think he fits the role nicely. He's a bit more preppy-looking than the Edward I imagined, but I'm sure he'll be fine on screen. I'm really looking forward to this now.

HATE IT. edward's suppose to be dark.....but that pat guy's....too light. and edward's eyebrows. whoa. definitely not that thick. i mean, normally, Patterson's not that bad, but DEFINITELY NOT AS EDWARD.
*goes into depression* ...maybe i won't see the movie....who am i kidding? i'd die before missing it.
