Sometimes when you're pounding on something, you need a hammer. Sometimes when you're pounding, you need a rubber mallet. It's the same with crayons and colored pencils. Some projects demand the wax, and other projects require the softness and blending abilities that the pencils provide. pencil.

I'm 18 and have yet to master the art of crayons. (tries coloring) Dang it! I can never get it to stay in the lines.

I just went straight from finger paints to colour pencils and chalk - the writing is on the wall - so they say. A few of my pics also! {:P

Um...I think it was 3rd grade when I started to prefer color pencils.Its because pictures can be drawn with accuracy and look proffesional and not like a kid's thing.
