That was a fun game no?

Now Erica and Mrs Crosby don't kill me..... but I liked that game. It had a lot of the physical play that I like to see. The game also answered the question of when was the last time a team scored 2 hat tricks in a game. I saw it was washington in 85 but I missed who the players were... anyways what were your thoughts on the game?

I'm so happy that game was on VS. and I got to watch it, that was a fun game to watch. Sucks that the Pens lost though. Didn't you say you had to study for finals? Lol, I have finals for college too, but this game was too interesting. I kept waiting for the bench-clearing brawl, but it never came. Oh well. From a neutral view: great game. Indeed the best one VS. showed all season, well except the Avs/Wings game they'll show later on in the season. I have a feeling that one's gonna be a dandy.

I might go to the 1st game at the can, but I definitely won't be going to Detroit :( I envy you. I'm pretty damn sure I'll go to one of the Wings games at the can this season though. I can already smell Wings burning! lol

Haha, I won't kill you. I like Pens/Flyers games too. Even when the outcome isn't in favor of the Pens, the intensity of the rival is a great thing to behold and it makes for very interesting games. That's the same reason why I accept that there were some things from BOTH teams that I didn't think were very classy... I know it's a byproduct of the rivalry which makes every matchup memorable.

First time in awhile that I watched a game on VS. Their coverage was oookay. Besides sometimes feeling like I was watching the channel Flyers games are broadcast on locally in Philadelphia, some of their antics were annoying. Like having previews of the intermission report. I kind of like hearing the intermission report DURING the intermission report. Also, sometimes their camera shots were a little less than desirable. Like when the puck is 10 feet away from where a bonecrushing hit took place towards the beginning of the game, but it was too much trouble to show the hit. I had no idea who hit who.

I'm amazed what great sports the Flyers fans were after Laraque singlehandedly rendered the Pens to a pk the whole 3rd period by chanting "CROSBY ROCKS!"
