I was trying to explain to my friends brother about Santa (He has to raise his brother being as his parents died in an accident) and my friend couldn't explain it so I tried to help. so I told him....

He is an obese (I said fat) man in a red suit that goes tresspassing (I said breaking in) in the middle of the night and giving you things that are mysteriously wraped up while he eats your food.

It was the only way I could explain it. What do you think of my explenation?

I was on the spotlight... It was that or my theory of how Santa is a Ninja... It goes like this...

Oh coarse ninjas celebrate christmas. Santa is one of the greatest ninjas of all times! I mean who else can travel the world in one night, and sneak into that many houses. ONLY A NINJA! Lets look at the facts, He lives in a secret lair up in the north pole hidden from everyone, I mean no one has ever seen him (Very much like a ninja) Does he work with a bunch of elves who make toys? Don't be silly there's no such thing as elves. He works with a bunch of ninjas (Very tiny ninjas)And let me tell you this, you do not want to cross a ninja, those guys will slit your throat in two seconds. And of coarse there's the myth that Santa wears red. That of coarse is very true BUT! the red comes from the blood of children who have woken up in the middle of the night and sneaked down stairs to try and get a glimps of Santa. KIDS DO NOT DO IT he has to kill you IT'S THE CODE OF THE NINJA!

Quite honestly, I think that your description of Santa Claus was cruel and extremely unnecessary! Think about it…this poor child is undoubtedly traumatized by the tragic death of his parents, and during this time of year he needs a lot comfort and magic in his life to help fill the void of his parents’ loss. You should have explained Santa in a much nicer way, and since you didn’t, I’m sure that you traumatized him even more.

You say that you had no other explanation for Santa, but I honestly don't believe you. I’m quite sure that you know the myth of Santa in the way that it is intended, but you told it in your own twisted way just to get a laugh. Shame on you for doing this! You need to find a way to make this right…..

OMG that explanation is so scary and twisted. the ninja one even scares me a little. i get u were put on the spot, but DO NOT make Santa seem like some fat, physco, serial killer. that will scare the poor kid soooo bad. plus during the holidays the image of Santa is everywhere. Songs, movies, stores, products, Christmas decor, u name it. Now go retell him the traditional story cuz he will end up getting nightmares.

I think you should retell him about Santa. Unless he is old enough to know that Santa is not real, you should say that Santa brings presents to all the good children, and he gives them coal if they are naughty.

I think that was a little rough for a kid that age. If i told my little brother that he would freak out. I have no suggestions though I've never tried to explain that.

You make Santa sound like a theif that gives you what he stole from other people's houses.

Or at least that's what I'd think if I was a child...

Too negative. You are going to make this kid afraid of Santa.

Fat , trespassing, thief who steals food. What were you thinking ?
