some never do, others mature up and realize what's right and wrong and get and give respect. Some people though WILL never change, and i don't think it's a myth becasue i've experinced it, like givin' second chances, they swear to you they're different and all of that, when they've lied, some people can change and deserve second chances others, no. some change others don't\

Some people never change.....depends on the person. I know people who are bad, been in jail & prison & keep doing the same dumb stuff for years. Myth??? I think it's reality.
Others mature, see the light so to speak & change their ways, and learn from their mistakes or bad habits and turn out to be good people. They grow up.

I guess I can understand where that came from....we develope our basic character and that seems to stick with us. I can only speak for myself, but I am constantly changing, I grow and learn on a daily basis. I am definately not the same person that I was 5 or 10 years ago and I have even changed a little since yesterday.

It's a myth. I've changed so much in the past ten years, I hardly recognize myself-- not that I'm a better person or a worse person, I'm just totally different.

I think it depends upon the person and what they want to change. Some people manage it quite well. I do, however, believe it to be very difficult for some of us. I have tried to lose weight numerous times, but I always go back to my wicked food ways.

I've made lots of changes in the past couple years. I figure I need to if I plan on getting married in this lifetime

People get more mature, not necessarily people changing. Once you hit that maturity then you realize what is important, what isn't... and also how people handle situations
