Never in any time on a bright and shiny day could something occur like that of Mr. Cann.
No one but the voices in my head talk about how he used to be a human being just like someone else we might know. An average human being with an uneventful life until the Dark came to his little nameless town in the backwaters of a place which could be America or another, similar far off world.
When the Dark came it changed Mr. Cann. Mr. Cann was amazed at how pretty the Dark was when all of his fellows had explained how horrible and evil the blackness would be if it ever showed up. So fascinated was he with the Dark that he became at first fascinated and then obsessed until the Dark permiated his soul and nothing else mattered. Still, he would have wonderful bloody adventures in the name of the Dark, had the writer not decided that this was getting a little weird even for his writing style (or lack thereof). So it was that Mr. Cann lived miserably only for a short time.

Once upon a time....
...A little girl and a little boy decided to walk out into the sunlight. However, the sun's rays were blinding the children. No matter which way they looked, light was there! To save themselves from the brightness, the kids went umbrella hunting. Door to door, they searched, but not one family could lend them some artificial shade. Finally, the girl came up with a new idea.
"Let's find a nice tree to sit under!" She exclaimed.
So the two children went looking for a tree. After walking for a few hours, the boy noticed a fragile tree near an old house.
"There's one over there." He pointed, and they skipped over.
Once they got to the tree, they realized it was too small to fit both of them under. The kids thought up another plan.
"I know! Let's have a duel. Whoever can win in paper-rock-scissors can sleep under the tree." The girl said.
And they did. They hit their hands with rocks and paper and scissors for minutes and minutes. It was a long tie-breaker, for sure.
Finally, when the sun was setting, the boy realized he had won the battle....
So the girl went home and slept.

Once upon a time there was a teenage girl named Jilly who liked to walk up to the top of a tall hill every day. The hill was on the edge of her town and no one knew why she went up there. One day Jilly's friend decided to follow her up to the top of the hill. When he got there, he fell to the ground. All around the other side of the hill were destroyed houses, and barren landscapes. "How is this possible?" Jilly's friend asked. "It's possible because we are human." Jilly replied, sitting next to her friend. "But humans are civil beings, we make a positive contribution to the world," Jilly's friend said. Jilly stood up and pulled out a newspaper from a bag she had with her. She handed it to her friend. "We are only civil enough to live above other things. We believe that we are the only important things in this world until we realize something important is disappearing," Jilly said. She walked scanned the harizon of the town and turned back to the other side of the hill, where nothing remained but the end of a long struggle. "Do you know what happened here?" she asked. Her friend shook his head. "War. War happened here, many years ago. None of the people here were actually part of the struggle, nor part of the problem, but they were in between the fighting people. The two fighting peoples didn't care that there were innocent human lifes that would be changed or altered in the war, and in the end, they were all affected." Jilly said. She looked at her friend. "We are all in a war," he said standing up. "We all have no idea what we are here to do, and we will do whatever we need to to make ourselves believe we have a purpose." They looked at the town that they lived in and then looked back at the barren side of the hill. "Some will go so far into it, they lose what they were looking for." Jilly's friend said looking at her. "We are all our own destruction," Jilly said. They walked down the hill, and ran off through the nothingness, past the emptyness, and to the rest of their lives.
The End..
I know, weird story, but as i said... i'm bored...
