Yes, their views and opinions may not be the same as the United States, but that is the whole point of the organization. People often complain about how much the UN fails but do not take into consideration the progress that it has done. It has all but stopped Polio, is helping millions to fight HIV, and has helped with development in many poor countries. To the people who hate the UN: how would you solve these problems any better?
