You know, the commercial where the Burger King mascot almost gets run down by a group of old ladies...where is this world coming to when we allow commercials where we see people try to run someone down? I'm not trying to be PC or anything, I just think it's kind of odd to show something like that, especially when kids are watching.

They are all playing on the same game field. I'm not sure of the legal specifics, but there isn't special treatment for Pepsi over Coke or any other brand name. Just because someone has the right doesn't mean that they need to use it. A negative ad campaign isn't always considered good marketing, and if you are already leading the pack, than why mock the competition.

I think that it is allowed to air because the ad makes it clear that this is a joke, and that Burger King does not actually advocate trying to run people over with cars.

I guess it's just kinda funny. But I agree, also with that one with the Hitmoms, a play on Hitman, a person who kills for pay.

Well, TV shows are already filled with violence and sex and other criminal activity so it's ironic that you're complaining about something that's 30 secs long.

"im not tyring to be PC" you clearly are. I hate it when people automatically defend themselves by saying that they are not tying to be something and then come out and be that exact thing which they said they were not aiming to be. Orwell called that doublethink....
