Is it counterintuintive for progressives(liberals) who want a secular society, that the popularity of a charlie brown christmas tv cartoon seems to prove otherwise(they don't talk about a "holiday" on the cartoon now do they? )
Heck even they probably want to have their kids watch the cartoon....just like they did...

Well, u know, i happen to like the little show very much, as a matter of fact, i just watched it the other night. I think that it has a good moral background to it, and it really does explain to us(and to little kids) what the "Holiday" is really supposed to b about. It's NOT about gifts under the tree, and seeing how many we got, opposed to who didn't get anything, it's about Christ, and that he was born on Christmas eve. ALL of us need to to remember what the "Holiday" is REALLY all about. DON'T U THINK?

Why would you have a problem with Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang. Are you some kinda Snoopy hater? It's just a cartoon and yeah I want my kids to watch the kinda stuff I grew up with because it was wholesome clean and non violent and you can't find that anymore. I am tired of today's so called entertainment industry. I don't let my kids watch the crap they put on tv today unless I preview it first. I already watched Charlie Brown when I was a kid and there's nothing wrong with taking yourself and your kids back to a time when things weren't so crazy like they are today. And this is coming from a very middle aged conservative woman .

that's in simple terms an occasion of a squirrel being ironic. he's praising the Charlie Brown Christmas particular because of the fact it expressly eschews commercialism in prefer of the non secular meaning of Christmas. That one among those particular might basically be shown on a non secular community if it weren't a 40 5 12 months previous Peanuts function is our squirrel's factor.

Charles Shultz was a saint, His Peanuts movies and strips were so full of clean safe and always acceptable values that still to this day resonates with children. Charles Shultz was a gift to American children from the lord him self.

My great grandfather used to love it when he was a kid or so I've been told. Redundant for now though, except at the nursing homes I guess.
