I am not a member of the NRA or a gun owner. The Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States starts with the words: "Congress shall make no laws...".

That means whether you like it or not it stands. This is also true for all 10 Amendments referred to the Bill of Rights.

Only at the end of a gun could I be forced to negotiate for the rights afforded to us under the 2nd amendment. And you can be sure my gun would be there as well.

No, the amendment is not negotiable. The government cannot stop a well-regulated militia from carrying arms. Period.

The country is a better place because of are Constitution. Why would anyone want to change it.

I'd like to see what happens when they start trying the disarm us.

No Constitution should ever be broken they were set by our Fore Fathers the Framers and they were never, never to be broken, never. But, Bush decided to break one and then two and now just whatever one he picks out he breaks. Come on January 20, 2009 and lets break him out in a fast and swift send off at 12:01 AM, straight up and down not one minute before , not one minute after but 12:01 AM straight up and down. Get his bags and put them in the street and start changing the locks as they all leave , what merry old time that will be, Whoa Is Me. Will I be Happy you betcha sweet boots I'll be happy. YIPPEE.

Sure, if you overturn it with another Constitutional Amendment.

Not for us, but what about the people in Washington, somethings afoot. I have not figured that one out and you might want to pursue that. Then again, why bother. Take care.
