Cat they are more independent, they don't druel all over me, I don't need to take them for a walk in the hot/cold/rain/snow. I just relate better to them.

Dogs because they always run to greet you with tail wagging when you come home, they are not as aloof as a cat and they walk better on a leash and I can take them in the car without having them turn into psycho pet. Plus they just seem to be a lot happier then a cat.

cats are so much easier- less labor-intensive. But, dogs are friendlier and goofier. I have one of each. My dog is at a rather difficult age- 8 months. She gets into everything and isn't too easy to handle- she's about 65 pounds so far- but she's cuddly and lovable. My cat is very affectionate and keeps me up all night wanting to be petted and snuggling right up next to me. Gotta say, it's a toss-up!

Well, right now, cats. They're easier to take care of. But I'm dying to have a dog. I love english bulldogs.

Dog. I like that cats aren't quite as messy, but dogs just seem more loveable.
