On T.V. doesn't count, it has to be a first hand experience

I was at the birth of my nephew, and it was a very spiritual experience. I expected it to be kind of medical and bloody with screaming and stuff, but it was amazing. A sense of awe filled the entire room as that little guy took his first breath, saw his mom for the first time, etc.

Also, I've given birth twice myself. Though it's true what they say about it being insanely painful, it is also incredibly exhilarating and emotional. These were the two best days of my life (and I'm not just saying that because everyone says that.)

Yes, I worked in a burn intensive care unit for one year and witnessed many deaths.
Yes, while working at the hospital, I saw the angel of death crossing into the next unit over. He was only visible for a fraction of a second, but I know it was him.

Child birth is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen! Witnessing death only made me realize how fragile we as humans are. Life is precious.
