New York...it has some of everything. History, culture, shopping, sports. For people who like cities you have New York City, Albany and Buffalo. Outdoor enthusiasts have the Adirondacks, the Finger Lakes and the rural upstate region (skiing, camping, fishing, hiking, rafting, sailing, biking, horseback riding...oh yeah). There's tons of waterfalls to see and hike around Cayuga and Seneca Lakes. In the fall there's gorgeous foliage all over the state. Tourists can see the Baseball Hall of fame, the Thousand Islands and Niagra Falls. Also, my favorite cheese comes from New York (McCadam Adirondack Wicked Sharp Chedder). Man, I love that cheese. New York is the best.

Westguy is a complete moron. Remember Columbine and that recent attack 2 days ago? Colorado needs strict gun control laws. My child would be much safer at an inner-city school in California than at a suburban school in Colorado.

California, by far. You can go snowboarding and a few hours later be pulling up to the beach.

I don't really want to say it, but I'm pretty sure it's California. No one ever wants to move from it after they've lived there for more than a year. In general the people who live there are diverse, fun, open-minded and unique. It has every type of landscape/environment within access...mountains, beach, desert. That's why the cost of living is so darn high there.
