The baby monkeys! Aww...they look like you..tee hee.

Well I always LOVE to see the monkeys because they are so cute and funny- downright hillarious!! Untill 2 years ago that is and I will tell you why.
My sister and I each took our 3 kids and our cousin's little girl to the zoo. So we had 7 kids with us. We were walking around looking at all the animals and having a good time. Everyone was sooooo excited to see the monkeys and they were just around the corner. When we approached the cage there was a male monkey sitting on a branch and he was right up front and center so we were all as close as we could possibly get to him. Well he had a little surprise for us. I was standing right beside my sister and all the kids were standing around us and everybody's eyes were on the little ...(well what should I call him) uuummm PERV!!!!! He was let's say relieving himself of some tension and he was just finishing up so to speak when my sis and I realized what it was that he was doing! He just wiped it off on himself and sat there all content looking at us!! The kids were all asking us what he was doing, and is that his junk mom? and what does he have on him? And my sister and I just stood there in shock trying to think of somthing to say and looking at eachother like why couldn't we wait for 5 more seconds to come around that corner to see the monkeys?
Finally I just said that I think he just got done eating and he was wiping off his hands. Boy was that an experience!!!
So I guess now my favorite animals are the tigers and the pygmy goats! They are not quite so human!!

The Gorilla house- my zoo has a huge landscape indoors and out for the primates- the silverback gorilla fascinates me. There have been times when the zoo was not crowded that he would sit beside next to the glass by me and just stare at me for a long time.Must be the family resemblance or something.

The Siberian Tigers---so majestic and powerful--only wish they were more active--but it's such a shame to keep them cooped up in a zoo.

The big cats: lions, tigers, cheetahs. They are so beautiful. I do wish they didn't have to be cooped up though. I'd rather see them in their natural environment and especially after they have fed. -:)

The lions , When they feed them you can be a few feet away from them. It is a rush.

i like e the inside snake aquarium..it's dard and cold and gives you reason to cuddle and steel a kiss
