People who live in Vegas do what every other person does on their weekend, except in Vegas as a town where there are three shifts and seven day a week work, it may be a weekend in the middle of the week.
We go to movies, shop, to to church, go dancing, see friends, go to the mountains, to to the lake, go bowling, etc. Away from the casino industry which is not the only business in Vegas, we have a regular city and regular folk.

Go water skiing, boating, or fishing at Lake Mead or Lake Havasu. Other options include going to Red Rock, Valley of Fire, or Mt. Charleston. In town, going to a movie, or out to dinner at a fine restaurant or Buffet works well also.

i work, that's when it's best for my job. but the weekends i take off, i go out of town. one weekend i went to mesquite. sometimes i'll just stay at home or go out to one of the clubs on the strip.
