What do you mean by "dates" and where would they go? Kids who are 11 years old are just that - kids - and are too young to be really dating. They are not yet mature enough to take the responsibility of dating and understanding the issues involved. Nor are they old enough to go many places without supervision.

The last thing 11 year olds should be doing is going on dates alone or otherwise. That is far far too young to even be thinking of dating. There is plenty of time for that later.

If they do go out they'll get lost in the city and probably they are both gonna get kidnapped. Soon you'll be seeing flyers on the streets telling you if you have seen these two kids... see a date of 11 year old couples ends up in a disaster.

Absolutely not!
11 y/o's should be able to very little unsupervised, let alone dating! They're children for cryin' out loud. The level of parental neglect out there is astounding...

If it's a romantic type date - NO! If it's the girl next door that he's grown up with and it's just a buddy date then - YES

No, because, first of all, they could get kidnapped, second, they might spend a ton of money, and third, they are too young to even go on a date.

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING!!!!!!!!!!! Age 11 is way, way, way to young to be going out or anything close to that. They need to concerntrate on being kids (and enjoying being kids) first.
If you do things too soon you have nothing to look forward to. I told my kids that you are only a child once - after that you have to be an adult the rest of your life!!!!!!!!!!!!
