That depends on what driver to speak of. If its a network driver, then yes, if you uninstall it, and have Windows reinstall it, it will find any problems associated. Uninstalling and reinstalling can sometimes 'reset' the software.

If you are asking whether uninstalling a device and then rebooting will make Windows reinstall the driver for the device, then the answer is maybe...

Windows will try, but if the driver is not on the PC, it will not succeed. If it is, then it will.

Usually it is better just to download the driver and rerun the install for it. That way you are sure that it is there.
